Garbage Pick-up & Recycling

     The City’s contracted refuse and recycling hauler is Tri-County, Inc. of Grove City.  Pick-up is weekly and one day late for weeks

     with holidays for each section of the City.  The City also recycles clear, amber and green glass beverage bottles and food jars;

     plastic containers with #1 & #2 stamped on them; aluminum soft drink, juice and beer cans; steel food cans and containers that a

     magnet stick to; and bi-metal food cans that are commonly known as tin cans.  Please do not place window pane glass,

     lightbulbs, mirrors, crystal, drinking glasses, ceramics or service ware, paint cans, aluminum tin foil or pie plates and

     hazardous household waste into container.

Weekly Schedule

Tri-County, Inc. observes the following holidays:  New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.  If the holiday falls during the week, pick-up is one day later (i.e. Thanksgiving is always on Thursday, so people who have a Thursday pick-up would be on Friday and Friday's pick-up would be on Saturday).  If the holiday is on a weekend, there is no change in the schedule (i.e. New Years Day was on a Sunday this year so the scheduled pick-ups did not change).

Green = Monday

Yellow = Tuesday

Blue = Wednesday

Purple = Thursday

Red = Friday
