Meth in the Titusville Area

Titusville Police Department has five officers that serve on the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation Drug Task Force that covers the following counties in Northwest PA:  Erie, Crawford, Warren, Venango, and Forest. 

Labs Seized (where the PSP Clandestine Lab Response Team was activated):

Of the 52 labs seized in Crawford and Venango County in 2004, 23 were directly related to the Titusville area and Titusville Police Drug Task Force investigations

(this includes labs seized in Forest County and other locations outside the Titusville School District). 

In 2005, seventeen labs or lab dumpsites were seized in the Titusville area:

4 in Cherry Tree Twp – Venango County

2 in Steuben Twp – Crawford County

4 in the City of Titusville

1 in Oilcreek Twp - Venango County

1 in Plum Twp – Venango County

2 in Oil Creek Twp - Crawford County

1 in Troy Twp – Crawford County

2 in Southwest Twp – Warren County

In 2006, 5 labs seized in Crawford and Venango County were directly related to the Titusville area.
