Titusville, PA, a city of the third class under Pennsylvania classifications, is located in the southeast corner of Crawford County near where the county borders with Warren and Venango Counties.  Titusville, PA, serves as the hub of activity for the tri-county region encompassed by the Titusville Area School District.  Titusville is a quiet, safe community with a quality education system, a reputable hospital, a general aviation airport, a community recreation complex, and an excellent library.  Titusville, PA, proudly boasts over 285 acres or recreational property which includes 6 parks, 15 ball fields, 8 soccer fields, 3 sand volleyball courts, a 400 meter community track, a community pool, a BMX race track, skate park, tennis courts, walking trails and bike trails.  There are also picnic shelters and pavilions available to rent.  Titusville, PA, has been named a "Tree City, USA" by the National Arbor Day Foundation for 20 consecutive years.  The University of Pittsburgh maintains a branch campus in Titusville which offers a variety of two and four year degrees.  While in Titusville, you can visit Oil Creek State Park and hike over 30 miles of trails through the valley or bike the 12-mile of paved trail running from Titusville to Petroleum Centre.  Oil Creek provides some of the best fly fishing in the country.  Drake Well Museum & Park offers visitors a look into Titusville history as the "Birthplace of the Oil Industry", including a working replica of the original Drake's Well.
